Steps in the order-giving operation

The following steps should better be followed in giving an order:
1.       Planning is to be done in order to make the order clear and complete.
2.       Preparing the order receiver for satisfactory accomplishment of the task concerned.
3.       Presenting the order in clear, firm, complete and courteous manner.
4.       Reaction of the receiver is to be verified in order to ensure that s/he is moving toward the right direction.
5.       The superior is to be sure about the action to be taken by the order
receiver.

6.       Proper follow-up measures are to be taken in order to be sure about
repeated performance, if required.
7.       After execution of the order and its follow-up being completed,
appraisal of performance becomes necessary in order to reward proper
compliance.
