Morale indicates mental health and motivation stands for an inner urge of an individual to put to the maximum efforts to attain the goal. These two terms are inter-related and indicate a state of mind of employees, most desirable to management.
Desired morale and motivation can be ensured through proper communication. By ensuring transparency of management through communicating figures of sales, profits, etc. and providing assurances of rewards and chances of career advancements, the employer can effect positive changes in morale and motivation of employees.
